Seven Limited the privately owned logistics support services group based in Ipswich, Suffolk acquired Cold Chain Instruments Ltd (CCI) in May 2006.Cold Chain Instruments Ltd (CCI) which is located in Goring by Sea, Sussex on the South Coast of England was founded in 1990 specifically to design, produce and sell Temperature Recorders for the Refrigerated Transport Industry thereby enabling vehicle operators to meet the requirements of Food Safety Legislation.
These recorders are currently sold under the registered trademark TranScan.
Development Philosophy
All TranScan products have been developed following detailed consultation with Industrial Designers to ensure that the equipment not only performs well but looks good when installed.This development philosophy is evident in the purpose designed enclosures, customised mouldings and functional simplicity which all blend together to provide a strong product identity that stimulates pride of ownership.
