GPS Temperature Monitoring

What is GPS temperature monitoring and how can it help you?
GPS stands for 'Global Positioning System' and is the technology that many temperature monitoring companies use to locate and track the global location of your coldstore unit or vehicle. GPS temperature monitoring systems make use of the satellite network placed around the world to establish their own locations. They do this by sending and receiving signals at timed intervals - updating their position each time.

The Seven Eye GPS temperature system uses EGPS technology (Enhanced Global Positioning System). In short, E-GPS temperature monitoring systems provide precise positioning of your coldstores or refrigerated vehicles in all areas by using further technology and software now available and by taking the best quality signals available at that time. GPS temperature monitoring systems not using E-GPS may struggle to find quick accurate locations in some built up areas.

The Seven Eye E - GPS temperature monitoring system does not just offer accurate coldstore / refrigerated vehicle positioning. The system provides the customer with temperature monitoring data/knowledge that the refrigerated vehicle, trailer or coldstore is operating correctly and maintaining the required temperature.

It is an essential tool for checking the ongoing environment of goods either in transit or held in storage and thereby ensure products arrive at the delivery point in the best possible condition and in an environment where the temperature is at the required level for the stock it holds.
